The Ultimate Fighter continues to grow every year with new countries participating in the show every season. The first country outside of the USA to adopt the show would naturally be one of the biggest centres for the spot in Brazil. The success of The Ultimate Fighter Brazil would convince the UFC to move into other parts of the world including China and Canada but they would not forget the originals. The UFC would continue to host regular shows in Brazil and the third season is set to end in Sao Paulo at the TUF Brazil III Finale.

The UFC Will celebrate their 20th anniversary in the city that has given them the most in their 20 years as they travel back to Las Vegas. For the 20th anniversary they will hold one of the biggest fights of the year when Georges St. Pierre defends his belt against his toughest test yet. The fight will have plenty behind it but more than anything the fight is an attempt to prove that the era of the dominant champion is still alive.

The UFC would open their new home with UFC Fight Night 26 as the UFC would put together a great card to debut Fox Sports 1. It was another move for the UFC as they would essentially gain their own channel on a major network. Although the UFC is not the only part to the new sports network there is a reason why Fox decided to open up with a day of UFC leading up to UFC Fight Night 26. The UFC is still on the fringe of sports with many people still wary of the sport that pays people to beat each other up.

The UFC starts yet another era in their history as they will help to launch a brand new sport network from one of the biggest networks in North America. When the UFC moved away from Spike TV they were doing so to join a much larger network and reach a much larger audience. They would join Fox and would take over Fox, FX, and Fuel TV with multiple free events that would help grow the sport.

The UFC Light Heavyweight division has been one of the most competitive divisions in the UFC with nobody holding the title for very long. In a promotion that seems to have a dominant champion at almost every weight class the Light Heavyweight continued to be one of the more difficult divisions to dominate. Then came Jon Jones representing the new breed of fighter in the UFC and looking to become the most dominant Light Heavyweight Champion in UFC history.

There are certain fighters in the UFC who separate UFC fans between those who hate them and those who love them. One of these fighters is Chael Sonnen who seems to bring out the hate and the love from every fan. The reason for this is fairly simple as he is the loudest fighter in the UFC which many times can rub people the wrong way.

It has been an interesting road for the UFC in the last month as there have been many changes to the promotion. The UFC did something that they have never done before as they were forced to cancel an event. UFC 151 was supposed to be a great fight card with the Light Heavyweight Title on the line in the main event.

The UFC has had a tradition of long reigning champions with Tito Ortiz, Matt Hughes, Chuck Liddell, Georges St. Pierre, and Anderson Silva. Throughout the years that these men stood atop their divisions they have been able to empty out the division.
