Making a Statement in Brazil (UFC Fight Night 56 Review)

The UFC found its way to Brazil once again this year as they continued a busy weekend with two fights from around the world. A day after the UFC went to Australia they appeared again this time from Brazil. It was a strange card in their second day of fights though as injuries ravaged through the entire roster of fighters. New Fighters Impress in Finale (TUF Brazil III Finale Review)

In the second fight of the day the UFC would continue to show off their growth throughout the last decade. It is still considered by some the fast growing sport in the world but others would say it has reached a plateau. It is not to say that the decline is coming or that there isn’t room for more growth but for now the UFC seems to be steadily just on the outside of the biggest sports in the world. Still they continue to try to grow and tend to use the show that got them to where they are now to do just that.

TUF Brazil III Finale Preview

The Ultimate Fighter continues to grow every year with new countries participating in the show every season. The first country outside of the USA to adopt the show would naturally be one of the biggest centres for the spot in Brazil. The success of The Ultimate Fighter Brazil would convince the UFC to move into other parts of the world including China and Canada but they would not forget the originals. The UFC would continue to host regular shows in Brazil and the third season is set to end in Sao Paulo at the TUF Brazil III Finale.
