The Spider Returns in Vegas (UFC 183 Review)

UFC 183 was the chance for everyone to see the return of Anderson Silva and, to a lesser extent, the return of Nick Diaz. Both men had been out of the octagon for over a year, albeit for much different reasons. Silva was coming off of a broken leg that forced him out for just over a year while Diaz had decided not to return to the UFC unless he was able to get a big name fight. More than that though these two title fights would be two of the most anticipated rematches of the year. Ronda Rousey would take on Meisha Tate in a rematch from Strikeforce with both fighters never really getting along. The most anticipated rematch though, was the rematch for the Middleweight title.

UFC 168 Preview

The UFC will be ending their year with a massive card and with it the reminders of an era gone by in 2013. The year began with what many would consider the most dominant group of champions ever assembled. A number of weight divisions would see their champions solidify their spot in 2012 and there did not seem to be much change coming.
