The Conference Finals are set and both series are looking eerily similar to each other with a massive underdog against a dominant former champion with a few interesting potential Finals that could be in the near future.

Then there were two as the NHL playoffs have two conference champions and prepare for the Stanley Cup Finals. The conference finals were an entertaining round in the playoffs and although they were not defined by toughness or defence they still showcased plenty of skill. In the West the Los Angeles Kings continued to trample every team on their way to the finals.
NHL Week in Review (May 6 – 12)
The NHL playoffs have gone through another round as the Conference finals are now set with only four teams left in the hunt. So far the playoffs have been a tale of two rounds as both rounds had a distinct feel to them. In the first round it was all about the violence of the sport with fights and rough play taking focus.
