2017 WBC Preview: Pool D

Pool D in the World Baseball Classic is possibly the most competitive in the tournament as there is a lot of talent in this group making it one of the toughest this year.

the World Baseball Classic was created to highlight the best baseball teams and talent in the world but nobody expected it to show that other countries are better than the Americans, who have yet ot take a title.

WBC Preview: Pool B

The second pool in the WBC tournament does not have the powerhouses that Pool A has but there it still could be a good race. The pool does not feature the top powers in the world like Japan or Cuba but they do have four very good teams to fill out Pool B. The pool may not contain the next champion but that doesn’t mean that the competition during the round robin won’t be good.

The World Baseball Classic is a unique tournament in that it pits teams from around the world against each other. It is even more unique in the fact that there are a number of teams that rarely are seen in the international stage. This is true of the Brazilian team in Pool A of this year’s tournament as they will enter a pool that could be one of the tougher pools in the tournament.

The World Baseball Classic is one of the youngest major tournaments in the world and the legend has already grown. In 2005 the IOC would make a major decision that would change the face of international baseball. They would decide that baseball and softball would be removed from the Olympic schedule leaving a massive hole in the baseball world.
