The NFC East is a mix of the flashy teams and the workman-like teams but that mix creates an interesting division where no one team comes out as a favourite among the rest of the teams in the league.

The NFC East remains one of the strangest in the league as they have massive history and great talent yet can’t seem to put everything together but they get another shot as the 2016 season begins.

The NFL wild card weekend was a display of the myth of home field advantage as for the first time ever in the playoffs no home team won a game.

It is one of the most unpredictable divisions in the NFL and it is not necessarily because the NFC East has the most great teams.

Much like the AFC East the NFC east is one of the stranger divisions in the NFL but unlike in the AFC the East in the NFC is a much more formidable division. The NFC East is a division that produces a little bit more of a punch than their counterparts in the AFC and there is a different level of competition to win the division. In the AFC East the Patriots are the rulers but in the NFC it is almost a toss-up every year to find out who will win. The last few years have created a real divide in the division with the development of two very distinct types of teams.

Another season is almost hear in the NFL and once again all teams begin with an even scale looking to make their way to Arizona for Super Bowl XLIX. The league will look to go through another season as the most popular league in North America but it is a tougher battle every year. The NFL is far above most other leagues in the region but with a number of issues over the last few years giving them a black eye. The league continues to fight back from the image issues they are beginning to have that have made them less of a family friendly league than they used to be.

The NFL season would end with a bang in Week 17 with plenty on the line with the last game left to play. there were teams looking to hold onto a playoff spot while others were looking to takeover a spot. Every team seemed to have something to play for and they would all fight to the end. Unlike other years the NFL would see only one team rest their players as every other team was playing for something.

The Dallas Cowboys would see something on the sidelines that not many teams are happy to see on the sidelines. After a rough game where the Detroit Lions would come back and score a last second TD that nobody saw coming. It was the latest in a number of last second collapses by the Cowboys and the frustration levels continue to rise. After the Detroit TD the frustration would come out on the Dallas sidelines as wide receiver Dez Bryant would go off on veteran tight end Jason Witten.

The NFL season is set to begin and the ultimate prize is at the end as the Vince Lombardi Trophy waits for the team that can finish the marathon. The NFL season is a grueling one as one of the most physical games in the world claims plenty of victims. Every week these players put everything on the line, including their bodies, to give the fans what they want.

The NFC East has been a weaker division in the last few years but changes are coming and superstars are rising to make this a division to watch. With Robert Griffin III entering the division last year everyone was watching. RGIII would electrify the league and lead the Redskins to the division title with his arm and his legs.
