The rankings have remained fairly unchanged for the last three weeks and the matchups week to week have not got many people excited. There is still plenty of times for the big games this year as the season moves on and the games get more important but for now it has not been very exciting.

The NCAA season has been a wild one this year and has given rise to the Notre Dame Fighting Irish and Alabama Crimson Tide as the two top teams in the league. The season did not start out with both of these teams at the top of the rankings in fact neither began the season as the #1 team.
