The playoffs are here and as they started there was some potential for interesting games although that all gave way to the typical top teams who will be back competing for the medals for another year.

The tournament is halfway through and there are some surprising results for more than just a few teams as the second half is going to be interesting with a few teams on the edge of making their mark.

The World Baseball Classic is over and although it wasn’t the result that all of the WBC fans wanted it was an important result for the future of the tournament.
