Another Impressive Night (UFC 184 Review)

The UFC has always been full of great fighters who become legends in front of our eyes as they are clearly the best fight of their generation. These fighters are easy to see as they fight and seem to be so far ahead of everyone else that the only thing left to do is to wait for someone to catch up. The likes of GSP and Anderson Silva are likely gone but a new generation has taken hold in the UFC with Jon Jones, Jose Aldo, and Demetrious Johnson leading the way.

UFC 170 had plenty to talk about as three Olympians highlighted the card on the last weekend of the Olympics and some of the most captivating fighters would face off. There would also be a total of 7 undefeated fighters on the card for UFC 170, more than on any card in the history of the UFC. Not all of these fighters were well-known undefeated fighters but all were putting their winning streak on the line when they stepped into the octagon. Thrilling End to a Great Year (UFC 168 Review)

The year in the UFC was set to end with a great card at UFC 168 as two titles were on the line in what promised to be a card to end the year right. UFC 168 Preview

The UFC will be ending their year with a massive card and with it the reminders of an era gone by in 2013. The year began with what many would consider the most dominant group of champions ever assembled. A number of weight divisions would see their champions solidify their spot in 2012 and there did not seem to be much change coming.

Women Make Their Mark (UFC 157 Review)

Women have had their place in MMA fighting in Strikeforce and Invicta FC for a long time before the UFC would create a women’s division. The UFC decided to add the women’s for a large part because of one fighter, Ronda Rousey, but also because the UFC is constantly changing. The UFC has become a major sport and all because they brought something different to the sports world.
