NHL Week in Review (October 6-12)

The NHL season is still a young one and although some teams have emerged as great and others not so much there is more than enough time for everything to change. There are only 1.5 weeks gone in the season so far and plenty has already happened creating debate and discussion over many different subjects. Whether it is fire behind the bench from a coach, fighting, reporting locker room conversations, or which teams that have looked great and will remain great the NHL is full of great stories.

NHL Week in Review (April 28 – May 4)

The NHL Playoffs began this week in the NHL as the last game was played and the playoffs were set. With the start of the second season fans and analysts looked at all of the teams to see which teams looked like they could be the next Los Angeles Kings. There were the two favorites in the Chicago Blackhawks and the Pittsburgh Penguins who had run through every team on their way to the top of each conference.

NHL Week in Review (February 3-9)

There was no question that the conversation would start this year and that it would not take long to start. As soon as the talk of the CBA would finish and the talk about what the short season would do to teams the next subject up would always be violence in the game. The NHL is in a very unique place in this debate as the battle against violence in sports has come to every contact sport.

2013 NHL Preview: The Northeast Division

It could be the most legendary of all divisions in the NHL but it is certainly not one of the strongest. The Northeast has some of the oldest teams in the NHL with some of the biggest and most loyal followings. Many would have to be loyal to these teams as they have all seen struggles in the past and some are in the midst of very bad streaks.
