New Champ in Big D (UFC 171 Review)

The welterweight division was a bit of a mystery heading into UFC 171 as there was not champion with the rule of Georges St. Pierre over. A lot would be figured out at the fight though when the last #1 contender for the title would look to make good on a second chance while taking on a legend who was hoping his return to the UFC would be topped off by winning a title.

One Rematch Down (UFC Fight Night 27 Review)

Fox Sports 1 would once again see a great card for their second fight on the new sports network. With TUF stars on full display the focus would go to the welterweight fight that headlined the entire card. The fight would be against to mean who had faced off before in a week that has been highlighted by rematches.

A Grudge Ends (UFC 158 Review)

UFC 158 was a time that many fans and two fighters would finally bury the hatchet and bring an end to a long time grudge. Georges St. Pierre has been the champion for years and is widely considered one of the best fighters in the world. He is not without a few detractors though and one of the loudest was Nick Diaz who would call out the champion while St. Pierre was injured.

The 4 Year Domination Ends, For Now (UFC 143)

Georges St. Pierre had become one of those fighters in the UFC, the fighter that cleans out a division and has few challengers. There are only a few of these fighters in the UFC as Anderson Silva is a perfect example after he has cleared out the middleweight division.
