The strategy seems to be to continue to get lighter and lighter in the UFC as they continue to add lighter divisions to the stable of fighters. With the announcement of the Women’s Strawweight (115 lbs) division the UFC is once again looking at lighters fighters to continue providing great fights.
UFC on Fox 9 Preview
The UFC is continuing to add divisions with the newest announcement of the Women’s Strawweight division. The Ultimate Fighter 20 will feature a new division in the UFC with 115 lbs women taking the main stage of the show. The strawweight division will be the lightest division in the UFC and will be much like the Men’s Flyweight Division.
