NCAA Football Report (Bowl Week 3)

The Bowl season is over and despite some great bowls the year ended in disappointment as the New Year’s Six were far from competitive games including the Semi-Finals.

2015 College Football Playoff Preview

It is that time of the year as the Bowl Season is in full swing with the games only getting better in the lead up to the National Championship. Over the past few years it wasn’t until the new year when the big bowls took place that any of the top teams played. They were the BCS bowls and they led up to the National Championship where the two best teams in the country faced off. Things are done a little bit differently this time around though as the NCAA returned to the big six bowls. They brought back the Peach and Cotton Bowl to join the Fiesta, Orange, Sugar, and Rose Bowl.

NCAA Football Report (Week 14)

Week 14 in the NCAA is always a good one but it does not always have the drama that it would in 2012. The storylines were many in the final week where the championships would be determined. It is always a big week because it is the week where conference titles are determined and for many that is the biggest game they will play. The championship games for some teams are their biggest game as they will likely not make a BCS bowl and so the highlight of the year is to call themselves a conference champion.

BCS: The Great Debate

The Bowl Championship Series (BCS) Rankings are the biggest point of controversy every season in the NCAA as some love the Bowls and some despise them. The BCS is an evolution of the traditional college system. The system has not changed much since the first ever Rose Bowl in 1902 when the top ranked teams in the nation faced off on New Year’s Day.
