Making a statement in New Mexico (UFC Fight Night 42 Review)

Benson Henderson was on top of the UFC world in 2012 when he beat Frankie Edgar to win the lightweight title. He would go on to defend the belt three more times and seemed like a fighter that could clean out a division. Many would consider him the next great champion in the likes of Georges St. Pierre and Anderson Silva, who both fought at such a high level that the UFC struggled to find true competitors for them for years.

The Ultimate Fighter would get through yet another season as the reality show that launched UFC into the stratosphere would bring another fighter to the UFC roster. This year’s version of the show may go down as one of the best with plenty of great fights and a lot of talent.

Flyweight Picture Finally Clears Up (UFC on FX 3 Review)

The Flyweight division is still an extremely young division in the UFC with only two fights between flyweights so far. These two fights were the Flyweight Tournament to determine the first ever flyweight champion of the UFC. The fights though only produced one potential champion as Joseph Benavidez won his match to earn a spot in the finals.
