MLB Week in Review (May 17-23)

The Kansas City Royals have been looking to get back into the hunt in the MLB and a handful of young talent was the way they were trying to do just that. One of the main pieces to this rebuild was Mike Moustakas who looked to be a legitimate power hitter that could be the clean-up bat that all teams are looking for. That would not be the case though as Moustakas would struggle to get going when put on the major league squad.

2014 MLB Preview: NL East

The National League East is a strange division that includes some of the best teams in the MLB along with some of the worst. There are strong teams that have fallen off in recent years and teams that have rarely even been in the hunt. Meanwhile there are teams that look as if they will be the World Series Champions year after year. A lot of teams have found their way to the top of the division over the years but there is one that stands out amongst the rest.

MLB Week in Review (May 4-10)

In sports there are always injuries and in baseball there may be more than usual as players have to go through some of the most strenuous activities in sports. The position with the most injuries is likely the pitchers as throwing a baseball is not a natural motion of the human arm. The arm is not built to move that way as an underhand pitch is the more natural motion.

2013 MLB Preview: NL East

The National League East is a division that is a good cross section of the MLB with teams doing it right and doing it wrong. The MLB is full of these teams that can show how to properly build a team and how to drive a team into the ground. In no division is there more of these teams than in the NL East were new powers are emerging and old powers are freefalling.

What a Finish (2011 MLB Review)

MLB Baseball is the longest season in professional sports in terms of games as every team plays almost every day during the summer for a total of 162 games. This for many would mean that there is little to no chance of a tight finish as after 162 games there would be the haves and the have nots by the end of the season. This is of course far from the truth as the MLB Playoff race has become one of the most entertaining aspects to the game every year. This was not changed in 2011 as the playoff race came down to the very last day of the regular season in both leagues.
