The AFC South is a division in transition as there are not too many teams ready to take that next step in the division.

2014 NFL Preview: AFC South

The AFC South has characterized by one dominant team at a time while the rest of the teams try to figure things out. The top team generally runs away with the division without much of a battle and the rest of the teams fall off far from the playoffs. For years that team was the Indianapolis Colts led by Peyton Manning. The Colts were the only team in the division every year and despite a few challenges from the Tennessee Titans every now and then, they were the only team in the division. The thing about that was that although they were the only team in the division they were also favourites to win a Super Bowl.

The NFL is the most successful league in North America as it continues to grow into a multi-billion dollar industry. The growth has not stopped and although challenges like the concussion issue have arisen they still seem to continue to grow. As they grow leagues around North America try to find out exactly what makes the NFL so powerful and such a great business. Through all of the research and all of the attempts to duplicate the model of the NFL one thing seems to be the aspect that nobody can copy.

The Great and the Terrible in the South (2013 AFC South Preview)

The AFC South is a tale of two separate types of teams as there are the two good teams and the two terrible teams. It is the story of the haves and have nots as the AFC South contains more than just two good and two bad team but also two very different ways of doing things. Two teams are clearly doing things the right way while the other two have been doing things wrong.
