The 99th Grey Cup was full of great storylines that made the matchup one of two teams that made comebacks to get to the big game. The B.C. Lions were not the best team last year as they made the playoffs but they were also very disappointing team. This year the disappointment continued with the Lions losing their first 5 games of the year as they looked to fall into the bottom of the league this year.

It was a historic Thanksgiving Day in the CFL as Anthony Calvillo broke yet another record against the Argos. Earlier in the year Calvillo threw his 395th career TD against the Argos breaking Damon Allen’s CFL record for TD passes. Tuesday Morning QB (CFL Week 11)

Week 11 in the CFL can be called Revenge Week as every matchup during Labour Day weekend was replayed the week after. The difference was the location as the home teams during Labour Day were the away teams in Week 11. This creates something special as the majority of the teams that play each other during Labour Day are some of the biggest rivals in the CFL. This was similar to other years as Calgary and Edmonton faced off in the Battle of Alberta, CFL edition, and the Saskatchewan Roughriders faced off against the Winnipeg Blue Bombers in what is known as the Banjo Bowl.

Tuesday Morning QB (CFL Week 5)

The CFL finished its fifth week as the season is in full swing and certain things begin to change as teams look to the conference races. There is still plenty of time in the 18 game season but in the CFL change comes quick. With B.C. continuing to look for help on defence expect new players to come in and out until they win. The Argonauts will also be looking for some help as they wait for Stephen Jyles to return in four weeks. Meanwhile Winnipeg and Edmonton continue to find success and are looking to continue the success and make the playoffs.
