The NFC is the more historical of the conference but they haven’t had the most success in recent years with only one Super Bowl in the last four seasons but growing teams are looking to change that.

2014 NFL Preview: NFC West

The NFC West was once the worst in the league only a few years ago as they were home to some terrible teams. They could produce one good team every year and had some teams make it to the Super Bowl but the competition was never that good. The rest of the teams did not put up much of a fight against the top team in the division and it was essentially a free win when top teams played them. Lately though that has all changed as the NFC West has become the best division in the NFL and they proved that last season.

The NFC West has come a long way since the time that they were the joke of the NFC with terrible teams. The referees were judged and measured and of course they screwed up but everything is back to normal. As teams move on and players get back to their regular way of doing things it is finally time to look at one of the biggest trends in the NFL.

2012 NFL Preview: NFC West

The NFC West has essentially been the doormat of the NFL for years but it wasn’t always that way. In fact every team in the division has made a Super Bowl and a couple of the teams have been considered some of the best in history. In this history the NFC West has been a producer of power but over the past few years the power of the conference had been fading.
