The NFL Playoffs are here and there will be 12 teams marching to unfamiliar territory this year as the AFC and NFC look towards New Jersey as the light at the end of the tunnel. The Super Bowl will be in a strange place this year as New Jersey and MetLife Stadium will be the hosts this year. It is the third time that the NFL will go to the Northern USA and it will mark the first time ever that the NFL will move to an outdoor stadium in the Northern USA.

There are six games left in the NFL season and that means the playoff race is heating up with few chances to get into the postseason. The races are on and teams are either trying to climb into the race or hold on to their lead. As the next six weeks advance there is sure to be plenty of surprises with some already showing their way. There are already plenty of surprises setting up for the playoff push. The Playoffs are here and it is time for the best part of the year with any team able to win the big game. The NFL Postseason is one of the most unpredictable postseasons in pro sports and that is because of one reason. The Playoff system in the NFL is essentially a single elimination tournament that will end with one team raising the Vince Lombardi Trophy.

The NFL regular season has officially finished as yet another crazy season has been put in the books. The season came and went fast even as it almost seemed to be over before it started when the NFL and NFLPA almost cancelled the season with a labour dispute. The Season was an interesting one and in many cases came right down to the wire as teams fought for their spot in the postseason.

Much like last week the NFL saw a chase for the record books but this time it was the chase of individual Records. Mainly it was one of the longest standing records in the NFL for QBs. In 1984 Dan Marino had one of the best careers by a QB as he threw for 5,084 yards in one season. This year this season was looked to be matched by not one but three QBs as Tom Brady, Aaron Rodgers, and Drew Brees were all on pace to break this single season record.
