2017 World Baseball Classic Report (Day 8)

A number of teams are heading home earlier than they wanted and many are looking at the lack of commitment from some of their biggest stars as a big reason for their early exit.

2017 WBC Preview: Pool A

Pool A features a group of teams that many might not think of as baseball powers when they first look at them but all are here to make an impact regardless of what others think.

Sochi 2014 Olympic Update (Day 11)

Day 11 in the Olympics would feature a few more meal events than many days as the weather at Sochi would take its toll the day before. That meant that it was a big day for more athletes than usual as they would get their chance to step onto an Olympic podium.

The World Baseball Classic got underway this past week as the Asian pools began their tournament and their quest for the WBC title. Can Anyone Stop Japan?

The 2013 World Baseball Classic is about to get underway as the best team in the world will once again be determined. The second pool in the WBC tournament does not have the powerhouses that Pool A has but there it still could be a good race. The pool does not feature the top powers in the world like Japan or Cuba but they do have four very good teams to fill out Pool B. The pool may not contain the next champion but that doesn’t mean that the competition during the round robin won’t be good.
