The weekend in sports will be an exciting one as some season come to a close while others continue their start. Basketball is coming to a close as the NCAA Tournament ends this weekend while the NBA enters their last month. Lacrosse will also enter their last month as the NLL begins their playoff race with two rivals.

The sports continue to roll out in the spring as this weekend will see a host of great events that will be sure to keep you busy if you decide to stay in. Basketball continues to roll this year as March Madness will move to the Final Four and the NBA will continue their march to the playoff race.

The Spring is here with great weather and a very special unofficial holiday in St. Patrick’s Day located on a Saturday. As the celebrations begin for St. Patty’s Day there will be plenty of sports to keep everyone busy as they prepare for a great day and also recover from a great day. This weekend will see a number of different sports as hockey continues to work towards the playoffs as the CHL enters their last weekend and the NHL enters their last few weeks.

March Is here and that means spring which is only one step away from the summer which means a new sports season is about to start and another is about to end. The summer season is coming which means baseball is back and it starts this weekend with the first spring training games of the 2012 season.

Another busy weekend in sports will get underway Friday as there will be something for almost everyone. Football continues to dominate TV with a number of big games on the schedule with most leagues entering the end of their seasons. The CIS will see two big games this weekend as the Uteck Bowl and the Mitchell Bowl will determine the two teams to face off next weekend in the 47th Vanier Cup.

As November goes into the second weekend there is plenty to watch in terms of sports this weekend. With Canadian Football beginning to wind down there will be plenty of playoffs this weekend. The CIS will see their conferences finish the playoffs with the Hardy Cup and the Yates Cup broadcast on TV.

The month of October is over and so the winter sports take over TV with football and hockey dominating the sports channels. The NFL is through their halfway mark and the second half will start off much like the first half with Baltimore taking on Pittsburgh in a big division rivalry. Meanwhile NCAA football will have their biggest game so far between the #1 and #2 teams in the nation that will go a long way to determining the National Championship.

The Sports World is beginning to wind down with winter coming in as seasons begin to end and playoffs start. The World Series is wrapping up with only one game left in a thrilling series where any team can win. With game 7 in the World Series the Baseball season will finish up this weekend as the football world sees the end and the middle of seasons.

The Sport Addiction is back with What to Watch for yet another weekend in the sports month of October. October is winding down and so are some of the sports but even more are just getting started. The CIS is almost down their regular season with the OUA regular season ending this weekend and a big rivalry game featured in the closing weekend. The CFL is beginning to wind down with a battle for the top spot in both conferences and for the first round bye.

The sports month continues as October marches on with a number of different sports to watch although no UFC this week. There is still Baseball playoffs to watch as four teams finish off the Championship Series in an attempt to make it into the World Series. Of course football is still around with the CFL and CIS nearing the end of their season and looking to finalize their playoff standing.
