Spring is here and the sports world continues their transition period into the summer months as leagues begin to wind down and start up. This weekend the transition will be on full display as the winter gives way to the warmer weather. The NHL continues to march towards the playoffs with only a few weeks left as the Maple Leafs try to cling on to their small playoff hopes when they take on the Flyers.

After a small lull in the sports calendar this weekend is full of great events that are sure to keep every sports fan busy. As the winter sports begin to wind down the summer sports start to make themselves known.
