The American League West looked like it was headed to becoming a very competitive division but it never panned out leaving one team on top which is where they hope to stay at the end of 2017 despite the rising of a few teams in the west.

The AL Central was not always the most exciting division in baseball but last year saw a shift and this year that shift may continues as another big battle is ahead.

The American League East has long been considered the best division in baseball as they have regularly seen teams at the top of the league. The division contains some of the most legendary teams in the MLB and every year they seem to be on top of the league. That can make it extremely difficult for teams to make a run at the top of the division. With the New York Yankees and Boston Red Sox constantly winning the division the other teams find it hard to break through and win.

The 2013 World Series will forever be remembered but more for how strange the entire series was than how good it was. There is no doubt that the series was one of the best in recent memory and it was expected when the two teams made it to the World Series. When the two legendary teams made won their Leagues many would see that this series could be a great one. Both teams were well rounded and had their strengths leaving many to wonder who exactly would take the series.

The Fall Classic is set and it will be a thriller as both teams have come this far through their offence. Both the Texas Rangers and the St. Louis Cardinals have outhit their opponents in the playoffs and have relied on some key pitching to win their games. With two offensive powerhouses in the World Series the Fall Classic should be a lights out series with plenty of offence to keep the fans interested.
