The Central division saw a facelift in 2013-14 and with the adjustment of teams it was expected that one would rule them all. The Chicago Blackhawks had been the rulers of the old Central division for years and have been Stanley Cup favourites for the same amount of time. Then the season started and a team that many thought as a rebuilding team began to take control of the division.

2013-14 NHL Preview: Central Division (Part 1)

The new Central Division is not the same as it once was with the top two teams taken away from the group. The Central Division had been built off of the rivalry between Detroit and Chicago but that is no longer there. The Chicago Blackhawks remain in the Central Division while the Detroit Red Wings move to the Eastern Conference.

World Junior Preview (Pool B)

There is no question that the World Junior Tournament is one of the favorites and has become a Boxing Day tradition for all Canadians. Recently though the Canadians have had some disappointing years after a long time of ruling the tournament. This year the Canadians will try to get back to their winning ways in Pool B but will have a tough time against the better of the two pools.
