NCAA Football Report (Week 16)

As the NCAA Football world took a bit of a break with the season coming to a close and only one game on the docket. That game was the annual Army-Navy game in the NCAA in a tradition that dates back decades. The tradition is the one week where the Army Black Knights and Navy Midshipmen take over the NCAA world with their rivalry game. No other games are played on the week as two of the oldest teams face off as both hope to get closer to winning the Commander in Chief’s Trophy, an award given out to the winner of the three-team series between Army, Navy, and Air Force.

NCAA Football Report (Week 15)

The time that everyone was waiting for in this season of the NCAA is finally here as the first ever playoff teams are in place. After rivalry week the top teams in the NCAA got one last chance to prove whether or not they belong in the College Football Playoff. Championship week was the last chance for teams to get a win on the season and take home a title that could help them make the top four in the College Football Rankings. The Top four in the rankings heading into the week needed to win ad those standing outside needed to win in impressive fashion to get into the top four.

NCAA Football Report (Week 14)

Rivalry Week in College Football is the biggest week of the season for every team as they take on their most hated rivals. The reason that this week is the biggest in college football is clear. When two major rivals clash anything can happen. A #1 team can lose to an unranked team because there is something else on the line during these games. The emotion of the game brings something out of both teams and sends them to a new level.

NCAA Football Report (Week 13)

NCAA Football is very proud of their great traditions and the great history that many of their school have. It seems like every week there is another story about another tradition from another school. Whether it is the gator chomp, the sign at Notre Dame, the rock at Clemson, or the T at Tennessee there are plenty of great traditions in college football. The traditions are not limited to certain teams though as Week 13 marked a significant part of the countdown towards the playoff.

NCAA Football Report (Week 12)

The NCAA season continues to wind around towards the playoff as top four teams continue to drop. The #1 team in the nation took their first loss of the season as Mississippi State could not overcome the challenge from Alabama. So for another week the rankings change and the playoff adjusts. It seems like every week another top four teams takes a loss in one of the strangest years in recent memory. It is all only made stranger with the fact that it is all about the top four teams and not the top two teams that make it in.

NCAA Football Report (Week 10)

The first rankings are out in the new playoff era as teams finally got to see where they stand in the playoff committee’s rankings. As much as the rankings before meant a lot to the teams they truly didn’t mean all that much in the end as the AP and Coaches’ poll has no bearing on the College Football Playoff. That is the end goal of every team in the NCAA as they all hope to find their way to the playoff and eventually to the National Championship.

NCAA Football Report (Week 9)

It is that time of year as the college teams wait patiently to find out where they truly stand on the national stage. With only 7 weeks left in the regular season the playoff is fast approaching for the first time ever. The College Football Playoff is the biggest story of the year as for the first time ever the champion will be determined through a playoff. The top four teams in the final rankings will enter into a two round playoff where major bowls will serve as the semi-finals and the National Championship Game will determine the next College Football champion.

NCAA Football Report (Week 8)

The College Football season is always a strange one when at any point in the season a big game can occur. It never seems like the big games are left for the bowl season as great teams face each other on a regular basis in the NCAA. That happened this week when two of the undefeated teams left in the NCAA faced off in the biggest game of the year so far. It was built as the biggest game that either school may have this year when the #2 ranked Florida State Seminoles took on the #5 ranked Notre Dame Fighting Irish.
