The debate between parity and dynasties translated to NRG stadium where a two-decade dynasty took on a team that had yet to win the title at Super Bowl LI.

The Super Bowl will feature a match-up that most would assume has been seen plenty of times but in 51 years the best offence and defence have only faced off a few times making this an interesting game.

The playoffs have not provided the close games that everyone is accustomed to when the best teams face-off but there is still a game left to save this version of the playoffs.

The NFC South is all about quarterbacks and with every team now having one the division is getting a little more complicated to figure out.

The NFC South has been a division of two teams for the last few years and those two teams have not let loose of the grip. The Atlanta Falcons and New Orleans Saints have quickly created one of the best divisional rivalries in the NFL and it has been the focus of the NFC South for the better part of four years. In the four years from 2009-2012 no other team won except for Atlanta and New Orleans while the runner up in three of those four years was either the Saints or the Falcons.

The NFC South is a division that has a lot of potential and could be one of the most frustrating divisions to be a fan. All four of these teams have what it takes to win football games but all have continued to fail to win. All have had their successes at one time or another but all have also disappointed. A main reason for this is the fact that the NFC South is known more about their offence than their defence.

The Quarterback is a very important part of an NFL team as they lead the offence and can be the reason for winning and losing. As teams move into the playoffs the position becomes more important as they are looked to for leadership of the entire team. Without a good QB that can guide the team to the ultimate goal, a Super Bowl Championship.

The 2013 NFL Playoffs started with some good games but nothing that made people think this was going to be a playoffs to remember. Then the divisional playoffs would start this year with and begin the best weekend of football in the season. The divisional playoffs would change the course of this years road to the Super Bowl as all four games would have massive storylines develop throughout the time on the field.

Last week was one of the turning points in the young 2012 season and for the NFL in general as the next move would make a big difference. After a Monday Night game in Week 3 the NFL and their fans saw one of the most controversial calls in the history of the NFL. The Green Bay Packers lost the game to the Seattle Seahawks on a Hail Mary Touchdown pass that seemed more like a game ending interception.

The NFL is only three weeks away from beginning the playoffs and that means the playoff picture is becoming more solid. Teams are beginning to lock up their positions in the playoffs but there is still plenty of room for the last three weeks. The NFC is the conference with the most teams already guaranteed a playoff spot. Both the Green Bay Packers and San Francisco 49ers have clinched their divisions and a playoff spot.
