One Rematch Down (UFC Fight Night 27 Review)

Fox Sports 1 would once again see a great card for their second fight on the new sports network. With TUF stars on full display the focus would go to the welterweight fight that headlined the entire card. The fight would be against to mean who had faced off before in a week that has been highlighted by rematches.

The UFC returns to Fox Sports 1 for the second time in three weeks to kick off a busy fight week with UFC 164 on Saturday. The second card on the new network will be another good one as a rematch highlights a number of TUF All-Stars that will be sure to provide another night of fireworks. The rematch will be between two great welterweights that are both looking to get to a title fight but have to get through each other first.

Big Night for all in Montreal (UFC 154 Review)

This night was a big night for everyone in the UFC on Saturday from the top to the bottom and from the main event to the Facebook fights. For the undercard fights it was business as usual which always means important fights as many are fighting for their UFC life. Others are fighting to break in to the UFC and begin what many hope is a long career.

With versions of the show popping up in every corner of the world the UFC has created a true feeder system into the main league. This year was no different as The Ultimate Fighter took on a new format but again provided some great moments.

Small Fighters Big Performance (UFC on FX 2 Review)

The UFC made their return to Australia and did it in a big way breaking attendance and gate records for free events. The Fight Night style of event saw 14,537 people cram in to the Allphones Arena to a total of $2.2 million gate. Both of these were records for events that were shown for free on television. These fans got a treat as well with the main event being a great fight but the main draw was the start of the Flyweight tournament.

What 2 Watch (March 2-4)

March Is here and that means spring which is only one step away from the summer which means a new sports season is about to start and another is about to end. The summer season is coming which means baseball is back and it starts this weekend with the first spring training games of the 2012 season.

UFC on FX 2 Preview

The UFC has continued to expand their fighting roster with more and more fighters and more weight classes. This was true late last year when Dana White introduced the new Flyweight class that would bring in another lighter weight class. The Flyweight division would be made up of 125 lbs fighters as the UFC continues to add more fighters to improve their talent.
