The NFL season is officially done but for many on the sidelines that means the scariest time of the year. It has become known as Black Monday and it marks the day where coaches and general managers lose their jobs. It is the day after the last week ends and for many teams the decision has already been made heading into the final week of the season. To avoid rocking the boat on a team that is still trying to win games, whether or not they are trying to make the playoffs.

The NFL is through the halfway point of the season as team prepare for their playoff run and potentially a run at the Super Bowl. That is only becoming tougher for some teams who have struggled to find their feet in the first half of the season. These teams are trying to use this second half to make up the ground they lost as they try to adjust and fix their issues before it is too late. Meanwhile other teams are just hoping that they can continue their strong start to the season through the second half of the season.

The NFC North has been one of the tougher division to compete in and although it always seems to come down to the wire. For the last three years the Green Bay Packers have been at the top of the division although they have not been able to run away with it for the last two years. The Chicago Bears have been right behind them every step of the way in the last few years as they continue their rivalry with the Packers.

The NFC North has been known as the Black and Blue Division as they have some of the oldest and most traditional teams in the league. There is a lot of history in this division as all four teams have had their own stamp on the NFL. Although these are some of the more traditional team there is a lot of new age in this division. The North is full of some of the best teams in the league and as usual it will be one of the best races in the league.

As all fans know the CFL is a unique league that stands apart from any other football league in the world. There is a different feel to the CFL when you watch a game as the business is not as important as the game itself. A sense of community is the concentration in the CFL giving it a special feel when you’re a fan. It is not only that different feeling that makes the CFL great and unique because above all it is the rules.
