In the midst of a great playoff race the NHL spoiled the story when they came out an announced that they wouldn’t be participating in the 2018 Olympics launching plenty of criticism.

The Chicago Blackhawks and the Pittsburgh Penguins would enter the NHL playoffs as the two biggest favorites that the playoffs have seen in a long time. It wasn’t always easy but both teams would make it to the final four of the playoffs and remain the biggest favorites. After all both teams had some of the most stacked rosters in terms of talent.
