Wednesday Morning QB (NFL Week 5)

There were plenty of offence this week in the NFL as the defence continued to struggle to keep up with the high powered offence. Leading the way once again was Peyton Manning who went back and forth with Tony room all game for a 51-48 win. It was the latest in the explosive offences that have emerged this year with many being led by some great QB play. As Peyton Manning, Drew Brees, Aaron Rodgers, and Matthew Stafford continue to make their mark there are a number of QBs that have fallen fast.

Who will the Drama swallow up? (2013 AFC East Preview)

The AFC East has had one ruling body in the past decade as the New England Patriots have been the dominant team in the East. The division is going through changes this year though as the team that was always perfect has joined the dysfunction of the AFC East. The East is a strange place in the AFC as it is full of teams that can seem to figure it out while the controversy continues to surround the entire division.

Unpredictable Season Ahead

For a while there I got worried, worried that the NFL and NFLPA would think of themselves and not the fans, or their bottom line. The NFL season was heading quickly into a long lasting labour fight that seemed it was never going to be solved. With the many different reports of getting close to a deal and then reports of no such thing it seemed like there was no way to know what would happen. As the preseason approached the sides were still deadlocked not being able to agree on a settlement. Then it finally came the agreement that would allow the NFL to continue playing and letting every NFL fan out there let out a sigh of relief. The only casualty was the Hall of Fame game that is essentially an extra preseason game meant as a part of the celebration for the Hall of Fame inductees.
