A football team is made up of many different parts like the lineman, skilled players, linebackers and defensive backs. There is also a bigger division with all of these players put into larger categories like the Offence and Defence. Then there is the Special Teams that seems to be a separate part of the team and one that gets little respect. Kickers and special teams players get little to no focus as they do not get a lot of love. There is a clear division with these players from the team but there is also a divide within the special teams.

NCAA Football Report (Week 9)

The NCAA schedule is beginning to get a lot more interesting with teams being knocked out of contention and big games coming up. This week the biggest game was between two ranked teams but one with much more hope for the top prize in the NCAA. This game was between the #20 USC Trojans and the #6 Stanford Cardinal. The Cardinal were bringing their league leading winning streak that stretches back to last year. NCAA Football Report (Week 8)

Finally after NCAA fans have suffered through two weeks of bring blowout games the top 25 saw a shakeup in the top 25. The last two weeks in the NCAA have seen the top teams run over their competition as the top 10 teams remained in the same spots. With a few shifts in positions below the top 10 the NCAA was looking to a boring finish. Fortunately for fans week 8 saw more than enough upsets that have changed the BCS outlook.

NCAA Football Report (Week 5)

The NCAA has seen a lot of the usual suspects at the top of the rankings this year but there are some unexpected undefeated teams at week 5. These teams have been flying under the radar but are slowly creeping up into the BCS conversation. First Clemson has been one of the biggest surprises as they beat the ACC favorite Florida State Seminoles. The Seminoles were the first big challenge for the Tigers as the Seminoles were ranked #15 and Clemson was not on the top 25. NCAA Football Report (Week 4)

The craziest fans in the NCAA are generally located in the South and this has come to great focus in the past years. With the multiple conferences in the NCAA there is always a debate as to who has the best conference. The answer has all but been answered in the past few years as the South Eastern Conference (SEC) has boasted some of the best teams in the NCAA. Since the establishment of the BCS National Championship in 1998 the SEC has had 7 of the 12 winners including the past five champions. This seems to be continuing in 2011 as Oklahoma was knocked off of their top spot by the LSU Tigers out of the SEC.

NCAA Football Report (Week 3)

The NCAA had been pure offence in the first two weeks with some defences that were supposed to be great this year suffered. Notre Dame was supposed to have one of the better defences but were torn through by Michigan’s Denard Robinson. TCU was also in one of the biggest surprises this year as they were again supposed to be one of the best defences in the nation. This was tested in their first game as they faced a young superstar in Robert Griffin III and the Baylor Bears. Week 3 reversed this trend as two of the best teams in the nation showed that defence is still one of the best ways to win a game.

NCAA Football Report (Week 2)

The NCAA is in the swing of things as they entered week 2 and many teams began playing their real schedules after their warm-up games. Some teams began their conferences schedules while others took on some big rivals as they all continue towards the #1 spot. Oklahoma Continues to have a hold on the #1 spot as LSU and Alabama battle for the #2 spot. Meanwhile Boise State and Florida State remain in the top five while Stanford is just on the outside led by Heisman favorite Andrew Luck. With some of these teams in action the movement at the top of the Top 25 was relatively low. One major aspect of the NCAA this year is the emergence of new QBs in some major programs.
