The NFL changed the rules for the NFL extra point making things tougher which was evident in Week 11 when more kickers than ever missed extra points.

Another season is done and the Baltimore Ravens are sitting at the top of the heap as Super Bowl Champions. Their journey was a strange one with the season starting well and ending terribly and then taking another turn in the playoffs until they would end as champions. It would be a strange year for the Ravens but it would be the perfect season to represent the larger 2012 NFL season.

The NFL Season has only one more week left until the postseason begins and many teams are beginning to take their spots in the playoffs. Not everything is for sure yet though as battles continue for playoff spots into the final week of the season. Other teams have already seen their hopes dashed for the playoffs and for the Super Bowl as more teams have been eliminated from the playoffs.

The NFL season is drawing to a close as the playoff race begins to shrink to only a handful of teams. Some teams continue to fight for their spot in the playoffs while others try to find out what they will do on their way to the postseason. There is still a lot to play for as teams are still working towards the playoffs but the teams are not the only thing to focus on at this time of the year.
