U Sports Football Report (National Bowls)

The issues in the AUS certainly didn’t help to get a struggling conference back on their feet on the national stage as powerhouses are back in U sports and two of them will face off for the ultimate prize after the National Bowls.

The National Playoffs looked like they were all set until a situation broke out in the east coast causing a bit of a strange circumstance for one of the country’s smaller divisions and leaving things up in the air heading into the semi-final bowl games.

CIS Football Report (Conference Finals)

Conference Final weekend had the potential to produce a lot of familiar teams in the National Playoffs but at least one team took their opportunity to make an impact and move one step closer to the Vanier Cup.

A surprising conference championships weekend has set up what should be an interesting start to the national playoffs.

2015 CIS Conference Finals Preview

The conference championships are here as four team swill emerge as champions one step closer to the ultimate prize in CIS Football.

CIS Football Report (Conference Finals)

I have said many times before that winning consistently in college football is the hardest thing to do because of how teams are made. Will Acadia Overcome the Huskies (Loney Bowl Preview)

The AUS has been dominated by the Saint Mary’s Huskies for a very long time as they are always at the top of the conference. This dominance is typical in the smallest conference in the CIS with only four teams in the league.

The Road to Vanier 2011

The Vanier cup will make an interesting trip this year as it will begin to tour along with the Grey Cup. The first stop in this new deal will be in Vancouver the day before the Grey Cup in the newly renovated B.C. Place. It will be the 47th time the trophy is handed out. Last year the game was played in Quebec City at PEPS Stadium on the campus of Laval University. It became a big advantage for one team as the Laval Rouge et Or faced off against the Calgary Dinos.
