The Calgary Stampeders are in danger of receiving a label that nobody wants as they take on the Ottawa REDBLACKS in their third straight Grey Cup looking for their first title since 2014.

The story reads much the same as a year ago with an underdog team from the east taking on a powerhouse from the west, last year it ended up with an upset but a year can make a big difference.

The 101st Grey Cup may not have the history behind it that the 100th Grey Cup did but there are plenty of great stories before the game begins. The 100th Grey Cup was all about the long and storied history of the CFL but for the 101st Grey Cup the stories would come from the teams themselves. Saskatchewan Roughriders and the Hamilton Tiger-Cats will bring plenty to talk about when they face off in Regina this weekend.

The time has finally come after an entire year of talking about it the biggest Grey Cup game ever. It is the one game that everyone has been working up to since last year in BC as it has become one of the most important events in CFL history. The 100th Grey Cup is more than just another game for the CFL as there is a lot more at stake for the league. It is not a do or die type of game clearly as the league has never been stronger.
