The NCAA season is coming close to the midway point which means that the BCS rankings are just around the corner. Games become more important with every week as the next loss could put a team too far back to recover and push their way back to the top and into the national title picture. NCAA Football Report (Week 3)

This week of games was a bit of good and a bit of bad and again saw a lot of boring games until the night. With Notre Dame and Stanford both going into the spotlight expected to lose in the night games the roles were reversed. NCAA Football Report (Week 2)

The NCAA season is still young and so the matchups are still a bit of a joke as teams continue to face weak teams. The top teams continue along their path of warm-up games before they are forced to play their tougher competition. For these teams it is a type of exhibition for the season as they do not have exhibitions to warm the teams up to game speed. There are always risks with this though as any game at any time can go completely sideways and the best teams can lose.
