A lot to Prove in Vegas (UFC 178 Review)

It has been the year of the upset in the UFC with some of the most dominant champions taking a back seat to the underdogs. Big names continue to fall and it seems that no matter who they face there is always a sense that their opponent can beat them. The biggest one so far was in the Bantamweight division where T.J. Dillashaw came out of seemingly nowhere to take on Renan Barao for the title. Dillashaw had been a good fighter but did not seem like he deserved a shot just yet but he walked into the octagon like he belonged against a champion that many were just assuming would beat him and wait for Dominick Cruz to get back

Lighter is Sometimes Better (UFC on Fox 9 Review)

The UFC is constantly trying to add more fighters and more wrinkles to remain one of the most popular sports in the world. It was the lighter weight classes that took focus on the last UFC card on the FOX network, UFC will be moving to Fox Sports 1 as of August 17th. The light weight classes are not known for being the most exciting divisions in the UFC but they would go out and look to change that. AT UFC on Fox 8 there would be only one fight that was Middleweight and nothing at a higher weight class.

Divisions line up in Chicago (UFC on Fox 6 Review)

The Flyweight division is one of the youngest divisions in the UFC and at UFC on Fox the first title defence would take full focus. The Flyweight title fight would be the main event of the sixth fight on Fox but there would plenty more at stake in this free card. Every fight in the main card would be an important one for all involved as every divisions would see their next contenders step up.

UFC on Fox 6 Preview

The Flyweight division is one of the new divisions in the UFC and has only had one champion since it entered the UFC. The lightest weight division was made to showcase the smaller fighters in the division who were too small to fight in the Bantamweight division. The Flyweights would also represent a weight class that would bring plenty of excitement to make up for the lack of knockouts in the lighter weights.
