Divisions line up in Chicago (UFC on Fox 6 Review)
The Flyweight division is one of the youngest divisions in the UFC and at UFC on Fox the first title defence would take full focus. The Flyweight title fight would be the main event of the sixth fight on Fox but there would plenty more at stake in this free card. Every fight in the main card would be an important one for all involved as every divisions would see their next contenders step up.
Wrestling Comes Back in the Bayou
There has been an interesting trend in the past events in the UFC as the art of the submission has seemed to fade away. Even in Brazil where Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is king there were no submissions in the entire night. The casual fan has been happy to see this as the Knockouts have gone up and the standup fights are increasing. This is not MMA however as MMA is about the total of every style of fighting including the wrestling aspect and this wrestling aspect can be just as exciting as the standup game. The ground game has disappeared as of late but in the Battle on the Bayou it was made clear early in the undercard that the ground game is back.
UFN: Battle on the Bayou Preview

With Nick Diaz losing his title shot due to a no-show at the press conferences for UFC 137 Carlos Condit earned the fight. With these two fighters at the top for now there are still a number of fighters that are looking to get that shot at one of the best fighters in the world in GSP. With the welterweight division in full focus the Battle on the Bayou fits right in as two of the top welterweight fighters will face off.
