The CFL has always been a quarterback driven league and the quarterbacks in place are all good but when the backups have to step up things might change which everyone will see after some Week 12 injuries.

There is a difference between a contact sport and a collision sport as a lot of sports are contact sports but only a handful are collision sports. Football falls into the collision category with every play in a game resulting in multiple collisions in the field. It is a sport that will do its damage on players and with an average career of 2.5 years in football it can have its impact.

The bye weeks are over for the CFL as all teams look to the last few months to try and get one of those coveted playoff spots. With the bye weeks finish every team is looking ahead and two teams would use the weeks to prepare ahead. In Week 6 the Montreal Alouettes would use their time off to decide on their coaching future.

The CFL is a passing league even though the running backs seem to be taking over the league this year. It will always be a passing league no matter how well the running backs do the quarterback will always be the most important player on the field. The QB is the one that everyone looks to lead the team through the rough patches in a league.

The CFL continues to surprise time and time again as teams continue to rise and fall as the season is just getting started. There is always one thing that most seasons will see in the CFL though as the passing game is truly something special. It is the real passing league in North America as 4,000 yard passing seasons are more the benchmark than the exception.

The CFL Season is through two weeks but the major talk is still centered around one big theme in the first week of the season. This big theme was the utter dominance of the Western Division over the Eastern Division in week 1. The preseason talk was all about how good the Eastern Conference looked so much better in 2012.
