2014 NFL Preview: NFC South

The NFC South has been a division of two teams for the last few years and those two teams have not let loose of the grip. The Atlanta Falcons and New Orleans Saints have quickly created one of the best divisional rivalries in the NFL and it has been the focus of the NFC South for the better part of four years. In the four years from 2009-2012 no other team won except for Atlanta and New Orleans while the runner up in three of those four years was either the Saints or the Falcons.

Defenceless Division (2013 NFC South Preview)

The NFC South is a division that has a lot of potential and could be one of the most frustrating divisions to be a fan. All four of these teams have what it takes to win football games but all have continued to fail to win. All have had their successes at one time or another but all have also disappointed. A main reason for this is the fact that the NFC South is known more about their offence than their defence.

Wednesday Morning QB (NFL Week 16)

Much like last week the NFL saw a chase for the record books but this time it was the chase of individual Records. Mainly it was one of the longest standing records in the NFL for QBs. In 1984 Dan Marino had one of the best careers by a QB as he threw for 5,084 yards in one season. This year this season was looked to be matched by not one but three QBs as Tom Brady, Aaron Rodgers, and Drew Brees were all on pace to break this single season record.

Wednesday Morning QB (Week 12)

It is rare to see an NFL franchise not able to fill their seats for a long time even with small cities like Buffalo and Green Bay. This has been the case for the Jacksonville as the franchise in Florida has been struggling for years. They have rarely ever sold out a game and it has all been a result of the poor performance on the field.

Wednesday Morning QB (NFL Week 7)

The term has already been coined by the NFL as “Suck for Luck” has become the new term for the worst teams in the NFL. The saying refers to teams that are in the running for the top draft pick which will most likely be Andrew Luck the quarterback for Stanford who will finish his last year in College this year. Luck is a potential Heisman Trophy winner and is widely considered the #1 draft pick because he has shown his ability to lead a pro style offence.
