Rules continue to change in the NFL as they look to make one of the most violent games safer but as these rules change some believe they are going too far leaving little room for a clean hit.

The NFC North has been one of the tougher division to compete in and although it always seems to come down to the wire. For the last three years the Green Bay Packers have been at the top of the division although they have not been able to run away with it for the last two years. The Chicago Bears have been right behind them every step of the way in the last few years as they continue their rivalry with the Packers.

The NFL Season is through the halfway point of the season as teams are getting ready for the playoff run. As with any season the trials of a season are catching up to teams and to players as the injuries are beginning to pile up. The season will always wear on players and they will always go down with injuries but for the teams that are suffering it seems to be the wrong time and the wrong players.

The NFL loves to build up their players and as is widely known it is one of the reasons that they are the most popular leagues in North America. As the NFL continues to build up players there are a handful that can be counted among the elite in the league. These players are not only the best players during their time playing but can be put into the debate of the best players to ever play in the NFL. These players are not so common with plenty of great players coming though the NFL ranks and only a few can enter the conversation of best ever.

The NFL has become a passing league in the last few years, although still with a love for the run game, and in turn has made the NFL a quarterbackâs league. In the NFL the most important position has become the man under centre and without a good QB that can at least manage a game you cannot win. This is why teams go all out to try and get that QB they think will lead them to the Super Bowl.

The NFC North has been known as the Black and Blue Division as they have some of the oldest and most traditional teams in the league. There is a lot of history in this division as all four teams have had their own stamp on the NFL. Although these are some of the more traditional team there is a lot of new age in this division. The North is full of some of the best teams in the league and as usual it will be one of the best races in the league.
