The CFL week would start with plenty of anticipation as the fans can feel the playoffs in the air with the Grey Cup only a few weeks away. As the air gets colder and the snow begins to fall in place the teams in the CFL begin to prepare for the climb to the Grey Cup. For the Alouettes and their fans though this anticipation would turn into a bit of fear for the future.

The CFL playoff race continues on with only a few weeks left in the season and many of the playoff spots already taken. There is only one spot left in the CFL while the playoff hopes for the one of the teams continue to dwindle. The Eastern Division is the only division that still has a playoff spot available as the Montreal Alouettes and Winnipeg Blue Bombers fight for the last spot and the Als only one win away from clinching. As the playoff picture becomes clearer the talk begins to shift to which team can win the 101st Grey Cup.

The playoff race is here as the spots are drying up fast with teams continuing to try and fight for the last chance to play in November. This week the B.C. Lions would run through the Blue Bombers and would get the second spot in the division. They would join the Calgary Stampeders as two of the three spots in the West are now gone with only one left. In the East the Toronto Argonauts would take the first playoff spot in the division.

The CFL season is just that much closer to the end as teams continue to fight it out for a playoff spot. The season is coming to a close but the playoff race is far from over as only one team has secured their spot so far. Even with the B.C. Lions becoming the first team to clinch a playoff spot they do not know where they will finish. The top spot in the West is still up for grabs and so is the east as nobody on in that division has clinched the division.
