It was medal day in the World Championships and as two teams looked to finish with at least a medal the other two were looking to go out as the best team in the world.

The semi-finals are a good place to reach at the World Championship as all four teams will be playing for a medal but the four teams involved are not happy with just any medal.

The playoffs are here and as they started there was some potential for interesting games although that all gave way to the typical top teams who will be back competing for the medals for another year.
