As the MLB season continues to move on through the first two weeks of the season the debates continue to rage on. It may only be a couple of weeks into the season but one such debate has been going since before the season began. This is the debate over running the catcher which is a long standing tradition and a hotly debated topic year after year.

The MLB season is officially finished as the San Francisco Giants took home the top prize for the second time in three years. It was a season full of controversy and of great stories that continued an era and began a new one. The Pitcher era was continue this year as the pitchers took control of the league yet again.

The World Series has always been a great series and in 2012 it was not different as another champion was crowned in the MLB. The series may not have been as good as last year or the year before that or basically most series.

The Postseason for the MLB is always a great and this year was no different with plenty of drama to follow. With comebacks and breakout players there have been great stories but many have also been followed by injuries and disappointment. Depending on your team you are elated at the results or dumbfounded. It is just another year in the MLB Postseason much like nay other and like any other year a trend has emerged.

The MLB season is close to finished with only half of a week left in the season as the postseason is right around the corner. With that there are only a few days left for teams to solidify their spots in the postseason. For the National League the postseason race is quickly closing as teams have already taken their place in the postseason.
