Tuesday Morning QB (Week 1)

The CFL season officially kicked off this Canada Day weekend as teams finally got to the real games on their way to the Grey Cup. There was plenty to talk about as it was the first chance to see the changes on each team and how they will look in the regular season. The biggest talk surrounded the apparent power shift to the Eastern Division.

Tuesday Morning QB (99th Grey Cup)

The 99th Grey Cup was full of great storylines that made the matchup one of two teams that made comebacks to get to the big game. The B.C. Lions were not the best team last year as they made the playoffs but they were also very disappointing team. This year the disappointment continued with the Lions losing their first 5 games of the year as they looked to fall into the bottom of the league this year.

99th Grey Cup Preview

The CFL season is coming to an end and the 99th Grey Cup will take place this Sunday in the newly renovated B.C. Place. For one of the oldest trophies in North America the Grey Cup gets closer to its 100th year anniversary, held next year in Toronto. It all start on December 4, 1909 when the University of Toronto Varsity Blues won the first ever Grey Cup against the Toronto Parkdale Canoe Club.

Tuesday Morning QB (CFL Week 12)

The comebacks are in full swing in the CFL after week 12 with two of the worst teams in the first half of the season are quickly becoming the best. The Saskatchewan Roughriders were coming off of their second season in a row making it to the Grey Cup. The two losses seemed to be making them think too much as they could only manage one win in the first half going 1-7 before the Labour Day Weekend. It didn’t bode well for the defending Western Conference champions as they looked to be out of the playoffs after two years of great play.

Tuesday Morning QB (CFL Week 6)

The CFL is quickly approaching the halfway mark of the season and teams are preparing to change their seasons, or keep them the same. Winnipeg and Edmonton faced off in a clash of the top two teams in the league with both surprisingly leading their conferences. Meanwhile Saskatchewan and B.C faced off in a battle of two of the worst teams in the league. The trends have continued as well with the Argos and their offence looking impossibly bad. During the dominance of the Argos Montreal QB Anthony Calvillo broke yet another record this time for most CFL career completions. Montreal had their tumble of two games but now they seem to be back to normal while the Argos don’t seem to be getting better anytime soon. In the other game of the week Hamilton tried to continue their strong play against the Calgary Stampeders who have not played up to their standard as of late. The Stamps finally got back to normal beating the Ti-Cats.
