The UFC has come a long way in 200 Pay-per-View events but there is plenty of work left to do as the UFC continues to use old tactics to sell fights heading into UFC 200.

The UFC finished off their year with two of the biggest fighters in the UFC facing off at UFC 141. Brock Lesnar who stands at 6’3” and weighs in at 265 lbs would take on Allistair Overeem who stands at 6’5” and weighs in at 256 lbs. Both fighters are two of the biggest fighters the UFC had ever seen and they would face off in the octagon for a chance at the UFC Heavyweight Title.

New Year’s Eve is upon on us provided yet another long weekend meaning more sports for everyone. After a busy last weekend this one will be almost as busy with a number of great events and games. Hockey is in full swing as the Spengler Cup and World Juniors are at the end of their tournament.

The UFC has continued to add smaller weight classes with the announcement of the Flyweight (125 lbs) Tournament to start next year. Although there are more and more light fighters one of the biggest draws will always be the Heavyweight Division. This week the UFC might have to put some more reinforcement in the octagon because the Heavyweight division will be in full swing.
