The CFL is a passing league even though the running backs seem to be taking over the league this year. It will always be a passing league no matter how well the running backs do the quarterback will always be the most important player on the field. The QB is the one that everyone looks to lead the team through the rough patches in a league.

As the CFL enters the middle part of the season many things will begin to happen as teams begin to change. Through 6 weeks of the season teams have begun to forge a name for themselves either as a team to be feared or a team who cannot get it together. The CFL finished their 13th week leaving six more games in the regular season and for once nothing is assumed. The playoff race is one of the closest it has been in a while as both conferences will be battling down to the wire. At the top of the Eastern Conference the Winnipeg Blue Bombers are going game for game with the Montreal Alouettes as they continue to battle for first place and the first round bye in the playoffs. Meanwhile at the bottom Hamilton is trying to stave off the Argos who are still in the hunt and will control their own destiny with games against the Ti-Cats still to come.
