MLB Week in Review (May 4-10)

In sports there are always injuries and in baseball there may be more than usual as players have to go through some of the most strenuous activities in sports. The position with the most injuries is likely the pitchers as throwing a baseball is not a natural motion of the human arm. The arm is not built to move that way as an underhand pitch is the more natural motion.

2013 MLB Preview: NL West

The National League West does not really compare to its cousin from the American League but it does contain some major contenders. They would like to be the same division as the American League but the reality is they are far off. The division is essentially a two horse race as there are only two teams that can win this division and after those two the talent drops off.

2013 MLB Preview: AL West

The West is looking to rule this time around as there are a number of teams looking for their chance to represent the division in the postseason. The American League West is likely the only division that can even challenge the American League East for the title of the best division in baseball. They are making an even better case for it as the season approaches with teams making moves and winning games.

MLB Week in Review (Sept. 8-14)

For the last few years there has been a long debate raging on surrounding pitchers and how to save their arms. The two theories, one of letting them pitch and the other of resting, have fought over and over with the resting theory coming out on top. Yet still injuries continue to climb despite pitchers not pitching as much to conserve their arms.
