UFC 164 would honour a longtime and major sponsor as they would travel to the home of Harley Davidson in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. They would do this to help celebrate the 100th anniversary of the motorcycle company in the place that they were founded. The UFC would give their sponsors a good show overall with some great fights throughout the card but more importantly would bring in some hometown favorites to fight.

The UFC continues its deal with the Fox sports channels this weekend and like usual the free fight looks to be better than most pay per views. The UFC has been stuck in a pattern as of late as they have regularly put together great free fight cards and when it comes to the paid fights they tend to fall short.

The UFC continues to expand throughout the world as they have already conquered North America, aside from New York, and Great Britain. A number of fights in Europe and Brazil have also shown that the UFC is willing to go anywhere to showcase the sport. Along the way the UFC has gone to a number of places that are crazy for the sport of MMA including Toronto, which Dana White called the Mecca of MMA, Brazil, the birthplace of modern MMA, and of course Britain, the birthplace of the bar fight.

This is the biggest step the UFC has taken as they moved from their partnership with Spike TV and into a brand new partnership with Fox. Fox is one of the largest networks in North America and entering into the contract gave the UFC access to more people than they had ever had before.
