The UFC has gone to many places throughout the last few years including a place where many of the UFC fighters come from. Brazil has been a wild place to fight and with so many Brazilians stars filling out cards they seem to consistently be the loudest events.

The trend in the past few years for the UFC has been for fans and analysts to put together super fights that see the best fighters crossover weight classes to fight for titles. This week the UFC will get their first fight to do this, although not quite the super fight many had been hoping for. In the past few years many divisions have been cleaned out by dominant champions who have left nobody to challenge them.

W2W: New Year’s Edition (Dec. 30-Jan. 2)

New Year’s Eve is upon on us provided yet another long weekend meaning more sports for everyone. After a busy last weekend this one will be almost as busy with a number of great events and games. Hockey is in full swing as the Spengler Cup and World Juniors are at the end of their tournament.

UFC 141 Preview

The UFC has continued to add smaller weight classes with the announcement of the Flyweight (125 lbs) Tournament to start next year. Although there are more and more light fighters one of the biggest draws will always be the Heavyweight Division. This week the UFC might have to put some more reinforcement in the octagon because the Heavyweight division will be in full swing.
