MLB Week in Review (August 3-9)

The MLB Week in Review has been full of Biogenesis information in the last few weeks and the last thing I wanted to keep harping on was the scandal. There really is no bigger story than the scandal though and this week it reached what might be its peak. There is no real need to explain what the scandal is all about as it has been harped on multiple times. Essentially an “Anti-Aging” clinic lead by Tony Bosch named Biogenesis would supply steroids to multiple athletes.

MLB Week in Review (July 27-August 2)

This past week the tradition would continue as fans flocked to Cooperstown to see the legends that created the MLB. The Baseball Hall of Fame is a celebration of what the MLB treasures most, their history. It is a place where the best and worst of the league are displayed, still waiting for the steroid era display, for all to find out how the league became what it is today.

MLB Week in Review (July 20-26)

The story will not go away and it does not seem to be slowing down as Biogenesis may be talked about for years to come. As was mentioned in previous posts the MLB has started to focus on another massive scandal in baseball. It started in the offseason when the Florida based Anti-Aging clinic, Biogenesis, went bankrupt and reports began to come out that they were providing PEDs while they were in business.

A few weeks ago The Sport Addiction would post a MLB Week in Review about Biogenesis and the hunt for cheaters that the MLB was undertaking. The MLB was looking at Biogenesis, an anti-aging clinic in Florida that had reportedly sold steroids to a number of players in the MLB. Major League Baseball would spend the majority of the offseason downplaying the comments of Anthony Bosch, the former owner of Biogenesis.

MLB Week in Review (June 22-28)

It has been a constant theme in the last few years of the MLB with the pitchers beginning to take over the game. The trend has continued through the last few years as many looked at the trend and though it was going to be another “Dead Ball Era.” The worry was that after the excitement of the arms race aka the steroid era when offence took off and home run battles captivated all fans.

MLB Week in Review (October 13-19)

The MLB is another step closer to the World Series as the Championship Series reach the end and determine who the two teams will be in the World Series. With only four teams left in the postseason there were many looking forward to the stories that would come out. Could the Tigers get past the always powerful and dangerous New York Yankees.
